Pop-top campers can now be registered as motor caravans
DVLA's October 2026 guidance means a completed pop-top conversion can be considered for a motor caravan body-type change, provided it also meets the stated exterior, interior and evidence requirements. It is a case-by-case DVLA decision, not an automatic reclassification.
